Max Verstappen has unveiled a new sparkling all-gold helmet livery that the 2022 F1 World Champion will carry until the end of the season.
The Red Bull charger was crowned for the second year running at Suzuka earlier this month, with four races to spare.
Verstappen had included a gold motif at the start of the year to celebrate his maiden title, but his outstanding success "in a season to remember" inspired him to opt for gold as his lid's base color.
"This is this year’s final helmet reveal and it is definitely a special one," the Dutchman said in a special video ahead of this weekend's Mexican Grand Prix.
"We went for some extra gold, after winning the drivers and constructors championships. For the remainder of the season I will be driving with this helmet, which is decorated with gold leaf.
"That made it extra special and with the white around it, it looks really cool.
"This world championship helmet has a special meaning, as it is a special year for everyone at Red Bull. It’s a season to remember for sure."
Verstappen fans can order limited edition scale models of the 2022 world champion's lid on Max's website.
