The Haas F1 Team is rolling back the clock this week at the Canadian Grand Prix, celebrating its 200th race with a nostalgic nod to its roots.
To mark the milestone, the American outfit has unveiled a special livery on its VF-26 challenger that pays tribute to the team’s inaugural 2016 design.
Featuring a bold mix of black, grey, and red, the throwback scheme evokes memories of Haas’ striking debut season, when Romain Grosjean drove the VF-16 to sixth in Australia in the team’s maiden race and followed it up with a top-five in Bahrain.
Founded in 2016, Haas remains the youngest team on the grid – at least until Cadillac joins in 2026 –and has carved out some standout moments in its decade-long journey.
From a best-ever fourth-place race finish in Austria in 2018 to Kevin Magnussen’s shock pole in Brazil’s 2022 Sprint, the team has had its share of highlights.

Now entering its next century of races with an all-new driver pairing – veteran Esteban Ocon and rookie Oliver Bearman – Haas sits seventh in the Constructors’ standings and remains a steady presence in the F1 midfield.
The retro-liveried VF-26 will take to the track in Montreal as Haas honors its history – and aims to make a little more of it.
