After failing to run during qualifying, Manor had been summoned to the Race Stewards of the Australian Grand Prix to determine rather the British team had been in breach of any FIA articles relating to its participation in the event.

After reviewing the team's written explanations and relevant material, the Stewards determined there had not been any sporting transgressions, and accepted that Manor had used all reasonable endeavours to ensure that its cars were able to compete in active competition. Subsequently, the Stewards decided that no further action would be required.
