Williams was dealt a huge blow in Brazil by Force India, its rival in the Constructors standings, and Valtteri Bottas says the team now just needs to go for it.
Force India now enjoys a 28-point lead in the standings after wrestling fourth place from Williams over the summer, a deficit which the Grove outfit will be hard pressed to overcome in the very last race in Abu Dhabi.
Valtteri Bottas is looking to keep the team's hopes in check however, urging Williams to pull out all the stops in an attempt to overtake Force India at the wire.
"We must just go for it! It's the last race, we have nothing to lose," Bottas said.
"We obviously will have nothing new in the car, normally it should be a better track for us and, at least, it should also be dry."
Williams left Brazil thoroughly disappointed by its untimely underperformance with Massa crashing out of the race and Bottas crossing the line out of the points in 11th.
"It is disappointing, they [Force India] had a very good race, they had a good strategy and you also need a bit of luck in these conditions.
"It wasn't our day and it was also a shame for Felipe that his last home race finished like this, but I'm sure he still got a pretty warm cheer from the fans.
"The pace in wet was actually more or less like our pace in the dry, so that was okay, after all the struggles we had in wet conditions in the past."
