Sidelined in Australia with chronic back issues, Valterri Bottas, who enjoyed a trouble-free run at Sepang, at least with regard to his back, is now confident of nearing a full recovery when he lines up on the grid in China next weekend.
"It was much better than in Melbourne which is good and the new driving position I had felt good," the Finn told Autosport.
In Malaysia, Williams altered the driver's seating and pedal positions in order to alleviate any pain and reduce risks of a relapse. Bottas is taking full advantage of the two-week gap between races to make a complete recovery.
"I am sure in China it will be 100 percent and no problem in the future."
