Nico Rosberg knew he had to begin reverting the current qualifying trend against team-mate Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes if he did not want to see his 2015 title hopes fade away so early in the season. And the German did deliver on Saturday by setting the fastest time in Q3 to start Sunday’s Spanish Grand Prix from the front. With statistics showing that 18 out of the 24 F1 races held at Circuit de Catalunya were won by the pole sitter, Rosberg enters the race in a pretty strong position indeed.
