You have to feel for Max Verstappen. The Bahrain Grand Prix had started pretty well for the Red Bull driver, who was aiming for a podium on Sunday. But it all ended abruptly on lap 12 when his rear brakes failed going into turn 4 and he went off into the tyre barrier.
Max is just starting the long walk back to pitlane to report in to the team. Behind him, the Red Bull is being craned away as the race continues behind the safety car. It's the teenager's first retirement since the US Grand Prix last October.
