When October 21 belonged to Kimi...

Back then Ferrari was a reliable and well-oiled machine, effectively managed by Jean Todt, and Kimi Raikkonen didn't have any tattoos.

Twelve years ago today, on October 21 2007, the Finn - an outsider in the world championship - started the final race of the season in Brazil third in the Drivers' standings, seven points behind the leader, McLaren's Lewis Hamilton.

A few hours and one astonishing victory later, the day belonged to Kimi, the 2007 F1 World Champion.

And perhaps even more astonishing is the fact that the Iceman remains to this day Ferrari's last crowned champion.
