As Formula 1 packs up for the winter, Formula E kicks off its fifth season this weekend in Hong Kong.
The all-electric series is slowly but surely growing, with the fans but also with the manufacturers. Renault, BMW and Audi are already involved, and Mercedes and Porsche are next in line to join the fray.
Formula E has crowned three different drivers since its inception - Nelson Piquet Jr, Sébastien Buemi and Lucas di Grassi - thanks to close competition up and down the field.
Jay Penske's Dragon Racing outfit finished runner-up in the team point standings in Formula E's inaugural season. This year, team regular Jerome D'Ambrosio is joined by 2016 World Endurance Champion and Le Mans winner Neel Jani.
Dragon unveiled in Hong Kong its team and its cars' new liveries, fashioned by the talented Sean Bull whose work we've often showcased here at F1i.
