F2 charger Theo Pourchaire enjoyed his F1 debut at the Hungaroring on Wednesday, the 17-year-old Sauber junior spending the day onboard a 2019-spec Alfa Romeo C38.
Pourchaire, who won the FIA Formula 2 Championship's feature race at Monaco earlier this year with ART Grand Prix, becoming the youngest driver ever to win in the junior series, has been tipped for a bright future in the sport.
Guided by Alfa team boss and talent spotter Fred Vasseur, the young Frenchman is rumored to be on the Swiss outfit's shortlist for 2022.
"Yesterday a dream came true, I drove for the first time my life a Formula 1 car," Pourchaire wrote on social media.
"I remember dreaming of that day as a kid. I would like to thank the whole Alfa Romeo team for this amazing experience and unforgettable day."
