While everyone awaits Porsche's probable announcement that it will commit to Formula 1 from 2026 with Red Bull, the German manufacturer is hard at work with partner Penske Motorsport developing its future WEC LMDh charger.
After raking up over 1,200 miles at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona in February, Porsche continued its preparation by putting its prototype through its paces at Spa-Francorchamps with works drivers Felipe Nasr and Dane Cameron at the wheel.
The extensive private three-day test was an opportunity to snap a shot of Spa's new-look Eau-Rouge/Raidillon complex where run-off areas on the left and right side of the track have been modified to improve safety, and where a brand new covered grandstand has been built that will offer fans a remarkable vantage point from where to watch the action.
F1 will return to a hopefully dry Spa-Francorchamps at the end of August for the Belgian Grand Prix, round 14 of the 2022 F1 World Championship.
