Ericsson throws a fast one at Yankee Stadium

Fresh from his remarkable win in last Sunday's Indy 500, Marcus Ericsson embarked on Tuesday on the winner's traditional victory tour.

After undergoing the usual round of American TV talk shows, the Swede rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange before heading to the Bronx and to the home of Major League Baseball's New York Yankees.

At Yankee Stadium, sporting his Indy 500 bling ring, Ericsson threw the first fast ball of the evening ahead of the local team's game against the Angels.

But it'll be back to business as soon as next weekend for the Chip Ganassi Racing charger who will defend his lead in the NTT IndyCar Series in the streets of Detroit.

Go Marcus!
