After a frantic weekend in the razzle-dazzle and streets of Monte-Carlo, George Russell chose to reset ahead of next week's Azerbaijan GP with a few days in the Scottish Highlands.
Surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery and the calm of Britain's last frontier of wilderness, Russell likely took a moment to take stock of his F1 season to date.
By his own admittance, the Mercedes driver is disappointed not to have won his first Grand Prix yet. But the 24-year-old knows all too well that such a milestone is only missing from his credentials due to his car's current limitations.
But regardless of when that win comes for the world champion in the making, along with the many others that will follow, Russell knows that deep down he'll always remain a country boy at heart.
