Raise your hand for Michael Schumacher's winning Ferrari F2003

It's a rare privilege to own a Ferrari F1 car, but to have the chance to purchase one of the most successful machines ever produced by the House of Maranello is a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Michael Schumacher's 2003 Ferrari F2003 – a five-time race winner in the great German's hands during a banner year that brought him his sixth world title – will go under the hammer at RM Sotheby's auction house in Geneva on November 9.

Chassis #229 won in Spain, Austria, Canada, Italy and in the US, and put Schumacher on the podium at Monaco and in France, so there is no doubting its crucial role in powering Schumacher to his penultimate F1 coronation.

Mick Schumacher recently shook down the illustrious contender at Fiorano after it was overhauled at the Maranello factory, after which it was awarded Ferrari Classiche’s all-important “Red Book” Certification.

Now, as a Schumacher fan you may tempted to check your coat pockets and sofa for some extra coins, but anyone who dares raise their hand next Wednesday in Geneva should be expected to pony up in excess of $9 million according to RM Sotheby's.
