Zak back on track at Long Beach

Zak Brown's ambitions as a young driver didn't pan out as expected, which encouraged the American to switch his focus to the marketing and commercial side of motorsport.

The McLaren Racing boss' great success in the business arena has allowed him to amass an impressive collection of historic racing machines which he rolls out at the first opportunity.

As the proud owner of a 1980 Williams FW07, Zak hit the streets with the iconic ex-Alan Jones car this weekend in Long Beach, where Brown saw his very first F1 race back in 1981.

On Saturday, Brown finished P10 in Race 1 of the F1 Historic Challenge, an event that's on the support bill of this weekend's IndyCar round in Southern California, and where Arrow McLaren SP is competing with its three full-time entries.
