Make that a hat-trick in Portland for da Costa!

Is there no end in sight to Antonio Felix da Costa's stunning form?

The TAG Heuer Porsche FE Team driver capped his weekend at the Portland International raceway with a second win in Formula E’s double-header in Oregon, his third consecutive victory in the all-electric series and his fourth triumph overall this season.

But while he owed his top step on the podium on Saturday to Nick Cassidy’s debacle on the final lap of the race, da Costa took a decisive win on Sunday despite a late challenge from Envision’s Robin Frijns.

“We’ve done it again! It’s my second victory in Portland, my fourth this season,” said da Costa.

“That’s incredible and shows what you can achieve together if you don’t give up and push each other. I want to thank the team for their tireless support. I’ll continue to try to do things right. Many people on Earth have this attitude to life.

“Today I feel as if I’ve reached a new dimension of this spirit.”

Jaguar’s Cassidy who again failed to put a single point on the board, still leads the championship’s standings with 167 points from teammate Mitch Evans and Porsche’s Pascal Wehrlein, with both drivers on 155 points. Da Costa now sits fourth with 134 points.

Formula E will resume and close its 2024 season in London on July 20-21.
