Alex Albon is bringing a personal touch to the Singapore Grand Prix with a brand-new helmet inspired by his Southeast Asian heritage.
The Williams driver has teamed up with UNICEF Thailand to turn this one-of-a-kind design into something bigger than just a stunning visual—it’s now a force for good.
“Introducing my SEA helmet design for the Singapore Grand Prix,” Albon shared on social media.
“I’m proud to share that I’ll be auctioning the helmet for charity together with @UNICEF_Thailand. All proceeds will go to UNICEF’s work in giving children in Thailand, especially the most disadvantaged, the chance to grow up safe, healthy, and supported, so they can reach their full potential.”
Designed by Karlotta Freier, the helmet is now up for auction, starting at $14,100, with all proceeds going toward UNICEF Thailand programs that help the country’s most vulnerable children.
“I’m really proud to be teaming up with UNICEF Thailand to auction my Singapore GP helmet and raise funds to support children who need it most,” Albon said.
Every baht raised will make a tangible difference, highlighting not only Albon’s heritage but his commitment to giving back. This helmet isn’t just race-ready—it’s a symbol of hope, impact, and inspiration.
So far, the new lid hasn't brought any luck to Albon whose opening practice session in Singapore was ruined by a brake fire on his Williams Fw47.
