Tennis world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz dropped by the Bahrain F1 paddock on Thursday to catch up with his fellow Spaniards Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz.
Fresh off his sensational Australian Open triumph, where he became the youngest man to complete a Career Grand Slam, Alcaraz took time out from preparing for next week’s Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha to soak up some Formula 1 action.
A longtime motorsport fan, the 22-year-old posed for photos with both drivers as they shared a few laughs and a glimpse of Spain’s sporting talent colliding on the global stage.
With Alonso and Sainz aiming for strong starts in Melbourne, and Alcaraz continuing his charge at the top of tennis, it was a meeting of champions - proving that whether on the track or the court, Spain knows how to make an entrance.
