Perhaps the last time Jenson Button was so uncertain about how a new F1 season would pan out came when he made his debut for Williams in 2000. At the age of 20, Button had impressed Sir Frank Williams enough to promote him straight from British Formula Three and impressed in his first race at Melbourne before engine failure (funnily enough) brought his race to an early end.
