The FIA has added a strip of kerbing behind the edge of the track at the fast sweeping right-hand Parabolica to prevent drivers from running wide.
Many drivers were seen taking a wide line yesterday through the famous turn which leads to Monza's main straight, the purpose of which was to gain an advantage by going beyond the track limits.
The issue was raised in Friday's lengthy drivers' briefing but the FIA has ultimately decided to take the problem into its own hands and add new kerbing which has been placed behind the white line which runs on the outside of Parabolica.
The kerb will therefore stop drivers from putting all four wheels off the track.
