Ferrari has tweaked the mountings of its Halo mirrors which no longer feature the controversial winglet assembly seen in Barcelona.
The FIA outlawed the Scuderia's radical design during the Spanish Grand Prix weekend, but allowed the team to keep them mounted on the team's SF71-H for the duration of the event for practical reasons.
The assembly was seen by the governing as potentially providing aerodynamic gain, and in opposition with its directive stating that the mirrors "provide a meaningful structural contribution to the mounting system" and "be mounted to the lower and/or inboard surface(s) of the mirror housing".
Ferrari's new design still features Halo-mounted mirrors but without the contentious attached winglets.
