Formula One has confirmed that its F1 TV digital streaming service will broadcast the first week of pre-season testing in Barcelona that will run from February 18-21.
F1 TV Pro subscribers will enjoy eight hours of track action on each of the four days and a one-hour post-session analysis show.
"Following the beta launch of F1 TV last year, our goal is to continue to enhance the product to include more markets, content and platforms," said Frank Arthofer, Director of Digital, Licensing and New Business at Formula 1.
"Our ambition is to provide fans with a terrific product that allows them to personalise their viewing experience and deepen the insight available to them about the sport they love.
"By broadcasting testing for the first time, we are ensuring F1 TV Pro subscribers are rewarded with all the latest action from pre-season."
While F1 TV is currently available in 67 countries, race fans in the UK do not have access to the service. A restriction imposed because of Sky Sports rights deal with Formula One for the UK.
However, Sky F1 will also offer live coverage of next month's first pre-season test, with broadcasting running every day from 1pm to 5pm and followed by a one-hour post-session review from the Circuit de Catalunya's paddock.
