Nico Rosberg starts from pole position for the sixth consecutive race and has converted his grid slot into victory on the last two occasions since Lewis Hamilton won the world championship in Austin. Hamilton says a suspension change on the Mercedes is the cause of the turnaround in form, but Rosberg will have to run his engine at a lower setting due to its age.
Again it is a Ferrari starting from third on the grid but this time it is Kimi Raikkonen who will lead the charge after a strategic error led to Sebastian Vettel dropping out in Q1, with the four-time world champion starting the race from 15th on the grid.
Sergio Perez starts from fourth as Force India looks to cap off an impressive weekend with a strong result, thought the Mexican - who finished on the podium in Sochi - warns he is concerned about his race pace.
The third row is made up of Daniel Ricciardo and Valtteri Bottas ahead of Nico Hulkenberg, Felipe Massa, Daniil Kvyat and Carlos Sainz.
A late gearbox change for Romain Grosjean sees him start from the back of the grid, one place ahead of Will Stevens. Roberto Merhi starts the race from the pit lane after making set-up changes following qualifying.
