Max Verstappen says he won't remain active in Formula 1 after he leaves the sport as a driver, insisting he has no ambitions to hang out in the paddock as a consultant or team advisor.
The reigning world champion began his career in F1 in 2015 and currently has 24 wins and world championship to his name.
And Verstappen's fans can rest assured that the Dutchman will continue to entertain them until at least 2028 which is the term of his current contract with Red Bull Racing.
After that period, anything goes, but should Verstappen choose to depart F1, he won't be coming back in any other capacity than as a driver.
"You will not see me as an analyst or in a team role," Verstappen told Dutch magazine Formule 1. "I don't have the motivation for that. If I no longer drive myself, I want to do other fun things."

Verstappen did admit however that when the day comes for him to hang up his helmet, "it'll likely feel good to "step away from that for a while".
The Red Bull driver's father, former Grand Prix driver Jos Verstappen, understands his son's outlook on his future.
"Your whole life revolves around racing now, Formula 1, you name it…at some point you are done with that," he said.
The latter still has an urge to compete however, and now gets his rush from rallying. But max doesn't see himself heading down that path.
"The problem is, when I participate in something, I really want to win," he said. "But I know I never had that experience, didn't grow up rallying."
