Scuderia AlphaTauri has revealed renderings of its 2023 contender, the AT04, that features a slightly tweaked livery for this season.

AlphaTauri's brand identity is once again logically prominent and while the car retains its basic dark blue and white scheme, flashes of red have been added to the mix, courtesy of new sponsor Orlen, which has switched its support from Alfa Romeo to the Faenza-based squad.

Last week, Red Bull Racing unveiled its RB19 in New York and AlphaTauri has followed suit, taking advantage of Fashion Week in the Big Apple to showcase its new line of clothing as well the new robe of its AT04.

"As we know, Formula 1 has seen a huge increase in popularity due to the likes of Netflix and social media over the last few years," commented team boss Franz Tost.

"So, it’s extremely important that we continue to grow in this market, which is why I’m pleased we were able to launch our 2023 livery here today in New York City to show our appreciation to the US audience."

AlphaTauri will be looking to take a step forward this season after concluding its difficult 2022 campaign ninth in the Constructors' Championship with its new-generation AT03, having suffered from reliability issues and a crucial lack of consistency.

To help ensure its progress this season, AlphaTauri will rely on Youki Tsunoda who enters his third year in F1 and newcomer Nyck de Vries who only has one Grand Prix under his belt – Monza last year, with Williams – but who arrive at Faenza as a highly-rated rookie.

AlphaTauri says that it will shake down its AT04 at Misano next Tuesday, ahead of the start of pre-season testing at Bahrain on February 23.
