McLaren Racing will roll out a scintillating collection of historic cars at next month's Goodwood Festival of Speed as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.

McLaren and Goodwood share an inseparable bond, as the venue served as the preferred test track for the team's visionary founder, Bruce McLaren.

It was at Goodwood where the manufacturer's destiny took shape, overcoming Bruce's untimely loss. Given its profound significance, Goodwood stands as a befitting tribute to McLaren's illustrious and triumphant legacy.

McLaren's array of cars and drivers will include Mika Häkkinen returning to his 1999 championship-winning MP4/14A, JJ Lehto in Lewis Hamilton’s 2008 MP4/23A-05 championship-winner, and NEOM McLaren Extreme E driver Emma Gilmour taking on the hill in the 1970 Can-Am M8D-01.

Also, Emerson Fittipaldi will drive his 1974 M23-05, with Emanuele Pirro at the wheel of Prost and Lauda’s MP4/2B-03.

Goodwood's annual FOS provides an exceptional opportunity for fans to intimately engage with revered motorsport icons and forge a personal connection with the rich history they represent.

"Goodwood and the Festival of Speed have such an important place in McLaren’s history," commented McLaren Racing boss Zak Brown.

"It is the place our story began in many ways, so a fitting place to mark our 60th. I’m excited to be able to bring such an impressive selection of cars and drivers to celebrate our anniversary in a big way.

"Our fans are such a huge part of our history; what better way to honour them than giving them the opportunity for a closer look at these icons. It’s going to be a fantastic four days."

The Festival of Speed will take place on July 13-16.

The main theme of the edition's 30th anniversary will be 'Goodwood 75' as the event looks back at three-quarters of a century of motorsport history.
