Sebastian Vettel will reunite with his championship winning Red Bull RB7 next September when the retired F1 driver tackles the Nürburgring's legendary Nordschleife.

Vettel will be joined at the Nürburgring on September 9th by his former Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo who will be at the wheel of a Red Bull RB8 from 2012.

Together, the former bulls will take part in a special event called 'Red Bull Formula Nürburgring' that will be held ahead of the famous 12-hour endurance race, and which will bring together a variety of cars and drivers.

True to Vettel's environmental concerns, the Red Bull RB7 that dominated the 2011 F1 season will be fueled by a special zero emission E-fuel.

"The myth of the Nordschleife resonated, even if we ‘only’ drove the GP track at the time," commented Vettel.

"In any case, it will be great fun to drive my RB7 - fueled with e-fuel - on the Nordschleife as part of a show run."

Next month, Vettel will also be in action at Goodwood's Festival of Speed, where the four-time F1 world champion will run up the hill in a host of cars from his personal collection, including Nigel Mansell's title-winning 1992 Williams FW14B and Ayrton Senna’s 1993 McLaren MP4/8, with both machines also using sustainable fuels.
