Haas team principal Guenther Steiner admitted to being "pretty pissed off" by Kevin Magnussen's off-track excursion and hit with the barriers at the start of FP3 at Zandvoort on Saturday.
In the session's tricky wet conditions, Magnussen lost control on the exit of the banked Turn 3 on his first out-lap, with the rear-end impact ensuring the Haas driver's early demise in the session.
But to make matters worse, the Dane also damaged new parts fitted to the VF-23, which left Steiner thoroughly unimpressed.
"Quite disappointed with this on an out lap in Turn 3," Steiner told Sky Sports F1 in the heat of the moment.
"Knowing that you’ve got only two wings left from yesterday of our new wings. I’m pretty pissed off right now."
Steiner noted that Nico Hulkenberg's crash in FP1 on Friday had set the team back one new front wing, an element that was heavily upgraded for this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix as Haas continues to fight its chronic tyre degradation issues.

The disruptions have inevitably impacted Haas' assessment of its new parts.
"It is a different set up and it was not what we expected so we need to go into more testing to see to make this work," a frustrated Steiner said.
"FP1 wasn’t too bad but in FP2, we didn’t get out what we wanted and obviously Nico was not on the new front wing [for FP2] because he broke one.
"Hopefully we will get some dry weather so we can do more testing."
