Ferrari has joined the growing grid of teams giving their cars a fresh look for this weekend’s United States Grand Prix, unveiling a one-off design for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton’s SF-26s.
Following similar announcements from Haas, Mercedes, Aston Martin and Cadillac, the Scuderia’s Austin makeover celebrates the creativity and technical expertise behind its racing machinery, with sketches, engineering drawings and blueprint-style graphics transforming the cars into rolling tributes to the design process.
Developed alongside title partner HP, the special livery highlights the work that takes place long before a Ferrari reaches the circuit, with HP Latex technology ensuring the intricate graphics could be faithfully reproduced.
“The livery celebrates the journey from idea to reality,” said Silvia Cavallaro, Ferrari’s Head of Color and Trim.

“Thanks to our collaboration with HP, we were able to bring that process to life visually and tell a story that reveals the craftsmanship and innovation behind the performance.”
Here’s a recap of the livery designs announced so far, in addition to Ferrari.
Haas
Teaming up again to promote Godzilla Minus Zero, Haas swaps its familiar red, white and black for a blue-heavy makeover, complete with the monster himself looming over the engine cover. It’s the team’s second Godzilla-themed outing this season after Japan. Clearly, one rampage wasn’t enough.

Mercedes
Mercedes has developed a taste for special liveries, having sported Petronas mint green in Malaysia recently. Austin brings a subtler makeover: the Silver Arrows have added blue accents to its car to celebrate MANUFAKTUR, Mercedes’ bespoke car-customisation programme. A little colour, without upsetting the neighbours.

Aston Martin
Aston Martin heads to Austin celebrating five years with Cognizant, its long-standing technology partner. In a city where innovation meets creativity, the special livery marks a partnership that has accompanied the team through a period of major transformation. Five years together – and still going strong.

Cadillac
For its first US Grand Prix at COTA, Cadillac is dressing for the occasion with a Wild West-inspired twist. Its familiar black-and-white palette gets an embroidery-style treatment, with patterns resembling stitched clothing. Yee-haw, with a distinctly American automotive flavour.
