Follow live text commentary of the second free practice session for the Austrian Grand Prix from the Red Bull Ring with F1i.
Nico Rosberg topped first practice as a new track surface and the ultrasoft tyre compound saw four cars manage to go quicker than last year's pole position time in FP1. Rosberg was joined by Lewis Hamilton and the two Ferraris in getting under last year's time, with the championship leader enjoying a 0.35s advantage.
The first session also threw up plenty of challenges for the drivers as a result of new exit kerbs installed to ensure track limits are adhered to. Max Verstappen fell foul of such kerbs, damaging his front wing at Turn 8 and later breaking his suspension at Turn 5, leaving him needed to play catch up in this afternoon's session.
Teams will be eager to get in a lot of early running in FP2, with the threat of rain increasing as the afternoon goes on. Thunderstorms are forecast throughout the rest of the weekend, with Sunday looking likely to be wet at present.
You can follow all the action from FP2 when the session gets underway at 1400 local time (1300 BST). We'll be bringing you all the news and information from trackside as it happens on F1i's live page.
