Felipe Nasr was already tipped as Brazil’s next big thing in the early 2000s when the Brasilia-born racer starred in karting, winning several national championships along the way. He graduated to single-seaters in 2008 before dominating the 2009 Formula BMW Europe and 2011 British Formula Three seasons.
An impressive junior category resumé that eventually propelled him to F1, first as Williams’ official reserve driver and then as part of the Sauber line-up. After a solid debut, the Swiss outfit has already confirmed F1i’s exclusive columnist for 2016. Good job Felipe!
