When Carlos Sainz’s Toro Rosso STR10 ploughed into the barriers in FP3, the entire F1 community anxiously held in breath. Thankfully, it then emerged that the Spaniard was conscious and OK. And while he was initially set to spend the night at the Sochi hospital, Sainz was released in the evening and could well race in tomorrow's Russian Grand Prix if given the green light by the FIA.
