Kevin Magnussen will bid farewell to Haas today, but the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix could also mark the Dane's swansong race in Formula 1.
Magnussen entered F1 with a bang with McLaren in 2014, scoring a podium finish in his first race with the Woking-based outfit in Melbourne.
Unbeknownst to Magnussen at the time, the feat would remain his best result in F1.
Sidelined by McLaren in 2015, the Dane returned to the grid the following year with Renault before switching his allegiance to Haas for the four years that followed.
But for the 28-year-old, good results were few and far between with the inconsistent US outfit.
After a final mad dash this evening, Magnussen will bow out of F1 in the twilight of Yas Marina before heading west to the Promised Land to open a new - hopefully successful - chapter in his motorsport career.
