Lewis Hamilton is enjoying a desert getaway during F1’s summer break, with the seven-time world champion embracing the life of a nomad and trading horsepower for camel power to travel through Morocco’s vast dunes.
Posing proudly atop his humped ride—which some might mischievously see as a metaphor for getting a taste of life at a different speed in 2025—the future Ferrari driver reminds us that sometimes, slowing down is the best way to recharge for the road ahead.
“For a second year, I’m so fortunate to travel through Africa during the break,” Hamilton wrote on Instagram.
“The first time around I was overwhelmed by just how beautiful and healing this world can be, and this trip is no different. Just like last time, I’m feeling more and more re-centered and at peace as the days go by.
“Morocco was the first stop, words can’t describe the experience, hopefully photos come close. Still so much to see and learn.”
