Sergio Perez has sparked fresh speculation over his Formula 1 comeback after sharing new glimpses of his daily routine on social media.
The Mexican, dropped by Red Bull at the end of last season, has been strongly linked with a return to the grid in 2026, with Cadillac tipped as the frontrunner for his services. Alpine are also reportedly considering Perez, but reports suggest the American squad is lining him up alongside Valtteri Bottas for their debut F1 campaign.
In his latest Instagram post, Perez is seen pushing himself in the gym and focused at his office desk – with the following caption: "I didn't know summers were this long".
While he avoided any direct references to Cadillac, fans were quick to interpret the update as a clear signal he’s keeping sharp both physically and professionally, and perhaps preparing for a serious comeback.
Should the Bottas-Perez pairing materialise, it would give Cadillac two proven race winners to lead their first-ever season in the sport.
With Perez’s commercial appeal - and financial backing - and Bottas’ consistency, the line-up could prove to be exactly what F1's new team needs.
