Jaguar's Evans charges from zero to hero in in Miami E-Prix

Mitch Evans arrived at Round 3 of the Formula E season with zero points on the board — and left Florida standing on the top step after a masterclass in precision, patience and pure racecraft.

Starting P9 in treacherous, ever-changing conditions, the Jaguar TCS Racing star carved his way through the chaos of a 41-lap thriller that tested every driver’s nerve.

The defining moment? A stunning switchback on Lap 27 that completely sold Nico Mueller and snatched the lead in one slick motion.

From there, Evans was ice-cool while the storm raged, balancing ATTACK MODE activations and stretching his advantage to a commanding 3.1 seconds at the flag.

Win number 15 in Formula E — and the Kiwi also smashed through the 1,000-point milestone in the series. Statement made.

Behind him, Mueller secured P2 while Pascal Wehrlein stormed from 11th to complete a Porsche double podium. Further back, career-best P4 for Joel Eriksson and a solid Mahindra haul rounded out a wild afternoon where even the reigning champ could only salvage 12th.

From pointless to peerless in a single race weekend — Evans flipped his season on its head in spectacular fashion. Next stop: Jeddah, where the grid gets ready to do it all over again.
