Sebastian Vettel (P4, 12 points) : 8.5/10
Despite a car not on par with Mercedes in Barcelona, Vettel did the business in conceding just 0.132s to slot in third on the grid and more importantly to split the FW09s at the start. While he had nothing for Hamilton, it looked like second place was his until he had to come in for fresh rubber during the VSC. His Pirellis went off too quickly and thus, despite contact for Verstappen, he couldn’t catch the Red Bull for the final spot on the podium.
