Checo only managed P15 on Saturday. He got a clean start but lost positions in the Grosjean mishap. Pérez spent most of the race on his own before resurfacing late in the day. He was lucky not to damage his car after running over debris from Verstappen’s Red Bull and to score a couple of points, but the overall pace of the Pink Panthers could be a concern for the squad going forward.
