Another messy outing for Checo. On his way to an underwhelming finish near the back, he picked up a foolish five-second time penalty for ignoring track limits and failing to follow mandatory re-join procedures at Turns 1 and 2.
Alex Albon, Williams (P17) – 4.5/10
Despite lining up alongside the race winner on the front row, Albon was quickly brought back down to earth. The Williams simply lacked top-end grunt, and alternative strategy gambits only served to slide him steadily down the order to a lowly 17th.
