The finishing position is completely deceiving. Gasly staged a brilliant comeback drive from a poor qualifying spot, showcasing elite race pace that saw him slash through the midfield during his second stint. The VSC timing wiped out a 15-second gap and stole a guaranteed points finish, but this was a top-tier Sunday performance regardless.
Esteban Ocon, Haas (P11) – 7/10
Ocon launched off the grid like a rocket, slicing past both Audi and Bortoleto at Turn 2 to put himself firmly in points contention. He lost out during the pit stop phase, ultimately falling just short of the top 10. A solid, punchy performance that accurately reflected what his machinery was capable of on the day.
