Mercedes has opted to outweigh its main rivals at Spa with its choice of medium tyres, with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas picking four sets each of the yellow-rimmed rubber.
The Silver Arrows squad's chargers will subsequently only have eight sets each of the soft tyre at their disposal in Belgium.
Ferrari and Red Bull have both elected to stock up on ten sets of Pirelli's softest compound for each of their drivers, a choice also followed by Renault and Haas.
McLaren's Lando Norris is the only other driver in the field to have selected just eight sets of the soft tyre and four sets of the mediums, mimicking Mercedes' strategy.
Pirelli's range for the Belgian Grand Prix will include its hardest compounds, the Italian manufacturer choosing its C1, C2 and C3 rubber.
