The Toro Rosso STR11 has hit the track for the first time during pre-season testing at Barcelona.

The team has yet to officially launch the car as it was tight for time getting it ready for he opening test as a result of the late agreement of its power unit supply from Ferrari. As a result the car - along with its 2016 livery - will be formally presented ahead of the second test.

The STR11 - which is powered by a 2015-spec Ferrari power unit - features a short nose design similar to last year's car.

Toro Ross is running in a dark blue test livery this week, with Carlos Sainz taking the car out for the first laps on Monday morning. Sainz and team-mate Max Verstappen will drive on alternate days throughout the week.
