Fernando Alonso remains in intensive care in hospital following his crash on the final day of the second test.
The Spaniard was airlifted to hospital in Barcelona after hitting the wall on the inside of the track between turns 3 and 4 at the Circuit de Catalunya, with McLaren saying Alonso was concussed in the incident. The team said he was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
A CT scan on Sunday afternoon showed Alonso to be "uninjured" and "fine" according to McLaren, with normal Spanish procedure for concussion seeing him remain in intensive care overnight for observation.
Alonso's manager Luis Garcia Abad has told Spanish media that the double world champion could be kept in for observation for up to 48 hours following the incident.
Having suffered concussion, the accident puts Alonso's participation in the final test in doubt, with running resuming at the Circuit de Catalunya on Thursday. Jenson Button is likely to carry out the majority of the team's running having completed just 86 laps in the MP4-30 so far this pre-season, but McLaren can also call on either Kevin Magnussen or Stoffel Vandoorne.
