Sauber is hoping to turn up the heat this week in Las Vegas a sizzling special livery in phase with the legendary vibrancy and showmanship of the entertainment capital of the world.
Sauber’s contender, which carried a special all-black livery at last year’s inaugural race at the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, features striking neon green accents, courtesy of title sponsor Stake, complemented by fiery flames that adorn the front wing and rear of the monocoque.
The scheme is a fitting tribute to the high-energy atmosphere of Vegas but it’s not just about aesthetics; it symbolizes Sauber’s unrelenting spirit in a challenging 2024 campaign.
Despite being the only team yet to score a point this season, Sauber is making it clear they’re not about to throw in the towel.
Just like the flames on their C44, the team’s determination burns fiercely, pushing them to fight on every lap, no matter the odds.
Team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi explained the deeper meaning behind the fiery design.
“Stake has always helped us create some impressive one-off designs and this is no different,” he said. “Our special livery for Las Vegas is more than just a design – it’s a representation of our team’s ethos and of Stake’s philosophy.
“We push forward with relentless passion, just as this city does, and we’re excited to showcase our fiery spirit on one of the most thrilling stages in motorsport.”

Needless to say, Sauber chargers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu will be sporting overalls paired with their car’s panoply while the team’s garage will also exude a flaming atmosphere.
While the future Audi works outfit’s 2024 campaign hasn’t delivered the results it hoped for, their Vegas motif is a reminder that the team isn’t backing down.
Whether it’s battling on track or capturing the hearts of fans with daring designs, Sauber’s message is clear: their passion burns as brightly as the flames on their car.
