Follow F1i's live coverage of all the action from the final free practice session for the 2016 British Grand Prix.
Perhaps it's no surprise that we've already seen some early morning rain at the circuit, which had a dramatic effect on one of the support races. More showers are forecast throughout the day meaning that FP3 and qualifying could prove very eventful indeed.
So far it's been Lewis Hamilton who has swept the practice time sheets. He was 0.033s ahead of his team mate Nico Rosberg on Friday morning, but Rosberg was completely absent from the afternoon session and Mercedes will have their fingers crossed that the water leak on his car has finally been fixed and that there will be no further issues for the championship leader today.
In Rosberg's absence it was the Red Bull pairing of Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen who stepped up to the plate, followed by a brace of Ferraris with Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen. However all might not be as it seems, with much of Friday's track time given over to trying out the different tyre compounds available, from soft to medium and hard. It's only in FP3 that we'll finally see the teams setting their qualifying tactics for this afternoon.
Equipped with an updated Honda engine, McLaren have been looking stronger this weekend with Fernando Alonso finishing FP2 in sixth place and Jenson Button in ninth despite losing a lot of the session to a series of minor glitches. He'll be hoping that those have all been sorted and won't re-occur today, as he bids to make it into Q3 this afternoon before his home crowd.
Plenty to watch out for in today's track sessions, then, and it all starts with FP3 at 10am BST. We will be bringing you all the news and information from trackside as it happens on F1i's live page so make sure you don't miss a thing!
