Porsche teases first image of 2023 LMDh contender

While F1 awaits the VW Group's decision on Audi and Porsche's future in Grand Prix racing, the latter has kicked off in earnest the development program of its 2023 LMDh contender.

Porsche is building its LMDh prototype platform that will race in the World Endurance Championship as well as in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar championship in collaboration with Penske.

The joint effort will allow Porsche to compete for the first time in 30 years for overall victories in the endurance classics at Le Mans, Sebring and Daytona with cars of identical construction.

Porsche's future WEC contender is expected to hit the track for the very first time in January, with new works drivers Dane Cameron and former Sauber F1 driver Felipe Nasr behind the wheel.
