At 3/10ths to Vettel in qualifying and more than 40 seconds behind on race day : Kimi doesn’t support the comparison either. Yes, in the race, the Ferrari drivers were on different strategies, imposing the Viking to make late final visit to the pits. However, his SF70H worked better on fresh rubber before losing front axle grip, as was the case in the first half of the Grand Prix while battling with Seb and Ricciardo, then late in the race in closing up to the RB 13 while fending off the comeback of Bottas. This is still not enough.
