It is a mighty long distance between Melbourne and Shanghai. For the Italian, it must seem like light years. The revelation of the season opening Grand Prix went off twice in the final corner. Saturday in reaccelerating too early, with his wheels sliding over the curbs and on Sunday he was caught out by a puddle. The result : a car suffering significant damage and a first impression tarnished. Even more of a shame as he had qualified for Q2.
