On the sidelines for FP1 (his car was taken over by Alfonso Celis), the Mexican was uncharacteristically down the order in the two other practice sessions. But he delivered the goods when it counted, slotting into P8 for the start. On Sunday, he never threatened and was never threatened. Another six points consolidates fourth place for Force India and sees Checo move ahead of Verstappen in the Driver's Standings.
