A drive-through for ignoring the blue flags brought what had been considered a positive weekend for Stoffel to a disappointing end. Conserving, in contrast to Alonso, the latest spec Honda engine, he came up 015s short of his illustrious team mate in Q2. His GP was summed up in his chasing down of Palmer, which was thwarted by the sanction, but he did finish between the Renaults.
